BACKYARD TO NIGHTCLUB: THE ULTIMATE GARDEN PARTY
INTRODUCTION
Sugar & Rind brought the party to a beautiful private garden for a very special double celebration on 5th July 2025.
Our client wanted to throw a party for his wife Jackie’s 50th and also their son Daniel’s 30th. Two milestone birthdays, one shared party space, and a very clear message: this night was going to be unforgettable.
THE BRIEF
The brief was bold and brilliant: To transform the paddock into an elegant soiree that morphed slowly over time into a full-blown rave up! The client wanted something that felt intimate but could handle 150 guests.
OUR SOLUTION
Our team got to work creating a seamless blend of elegance and pure party power. First, we installed a striking 10m x 22m sailcloth tent for hire — fully walled, weather-proofed, and kitted out to hold the night’s action. At the centre? A golden mirrored circular bar wrapped around a stunning golden twilight tree that gave the entire space a warm, magical glow. Yes, it looked as good in person as it sounds!
We brought in stylish modern lounge furniture, with low sofas, coffee tables, and poseur tables to keep the vibe relaxed yet refined. Each table had bespoke centrepieces to elevate the look.
When guests got peckish, they tucked into stone-baked pizzas and later, the all-important bacon butties — perfect party fuel for a dance-filled night.
CLUB-LEVEL ENERGY
Set in the client’s gorgeous garden in Bedford, the party was transformed into a full-blown outdoor club, complete with lasers, dynamic lighting, and a powerful PA system that created an electrifying atmosphere inside the sailcloth tent.
The brilliant Fake Tan Band band delivered two high-energy sets, getting everyone on their feet. As the night hit its peak, DJ Rafa took over with a drum and bass finale, spinning the client’s favourite Chase & Status tracks — bringing a true Ibiza-style buzz to a Bedford backyard.
The Sugar & Rind team was there from start to finish, making sure everything ran smoothly and the dance floor stayed packed all night.
A PARTY TO REMEMBER
A garden transformed. A family celebrated. A crowd of 150 eating, drinking, dancing, and laughing well into the night. It was personal, stylish, full of heart, and a true reflection of what we love to do at Sugar & Rind.
