FAYE & SAM’S WEDDING PARTY
INTRODUCTION
Earlier this year we created a unique and personal wedding party for Faye and Sam, clients based in New Zealand who returned to London to celebrate their marriage with their family and friends.
This bespoke event brought together 160 guests for an unforgettable night. The party was romantic with playful nods to New Zealand, beautifully reflecting the couple’s shared life and roots.
THE BRIEF
Faye and Sam wanted their wedding party to feel elegant and fun, with strong styling that celebrated their connection to New Zealand. We were asked to create an atmosphere that would be warm and whimsical with personal, themed touches. The brief was simple – make it romantic and floral with just the right hint of Kiwi charm… and a party that their guests would never forget.
OUR SOLUTION
Our team at Sugar & Rind transformed the venue into a unique space for nature, heritage, and celebration to link together.
A FLORAL WELCOME
Guests arrived to see a breathtaking floral arch at the entrance, creating a very special welcome as they stepped inside. It was designed to feel romantic and inviting, and it built a sense of anticipation for the unforgettable wedding party that awaited!
CHERRY BLOSSOM CENTREPIECE
Inside the main hall, we positioned a showstopping cherry blossom tree as a dramatic centrepiece. Its soft, fluttering blooms were complemented by other floral displays in a palette of blush, ivory, and soft greens.
NEW ZEALAND THEMED DETAILS
As a nod to Faye and Sam’s life abroad, we opted for subtle but meaningful touches that were influenced by New Zealand culture, such as the decorative masks that the team sourced which looked fantastic.
DINING DANCING & DELIGHT
Guests enjoyed delicious canapés and pizza, in a relaxed and sociable way, with everyone mingling and laughing together. After some truly heartfelt speeches and toasts, the evening progressed and we shifted the mood with in-situ lighting and sound at Bush Hall. A high-energy dance floor and wild celebrations went on through the night.
