THE BRIEF
Our client: Publicis Groupe, a creative advertising agency, came to us to help them to get their team together for some team building day activities and a summer party. They wanted it to be informal and relaxed and above all, really great fun!
OUR SOLUTION
Sugar & Rind created a beautiful summer party, outdoors, over the afternoon that spilled into the evening for them in Central London, complete with food, drinks and games provided by Hire a Pitch.
Our catering team worked closely with the client to create a beautiful grazing menu, and we arranged a mobile bar service, where drinks were served all afternoon.
THE VENUE (LOCATION)
We found a picturesque, secluded spot in Hyde Park, surrounded by trees and created a pretty, country chic setting, complete with sharing tables, rugs and floor cushions, as well as colourful deck chairs, rustic benches and jam jar flower arrangements.
THE EVENT
The client arrived to a really warm welcome from our team. Drinks flowed from our mobile bar service and nibbles were beautifully arranged for guests to graze on. A variety of activities were set up and led by our fantastic team.
Everyone was separated into teams and they all competed a blindfolded egg and spoon race, a 3-legged race, a sack race and finally the space hopper challenge! The brilliant Hire a Pitch then rounded everything off with an epic tug-of-war battle and some dodgeball!
SUMMER PARTY FOOD
Phew, with the games all done, it was time to dig into a delicious grazing menu, complete with chimichurri baked salmon, barolo wine braised beef gnocchi and heritage tomato spinach, ricotta and feta tart. We served the guests prosecco, beer, wine and soft drinks from our gorgeous mobile bar. We finished off with delectable cup cakes of varied flavours served to the guests from their pretty pink boxes. Delish!
With all that done, it was time for a VERY generous prize-giving. There were prizes for everyone who participated, champagne for the runners up and a whopping cash prize, together with flowers, for the victors! So much fun was had by all of the team at Publicis Groupe at this amazing summer party.
