Sugar & Rind partnered with Xapien to design and deliver a memorable Corporate Summer Party in London that celebrated their team, partners, and families. The goal was to create a relaxed, family-style celebration — where colleagues could connect, unwind, and enjoy time together in a beautifully curated outdoor setting.
This event showcased our expertise in summer party planning for corporates, blending family-friendly fun with refined styling and seamless coordination.
The Concept and Planning
Working closely with Xapien’s team, Sugar & Rind envisioned a laid-back Family Fun Day filled with laughter, good food, and vibrant summer energy. The design transformed the Founders’ stunning garden into a warm and welcoming space that balanced sophistication with playfulness. Every detail was thoughtfully considered — from layout and flow to entertainment and ambience — to ensure guests could relax and enjoy the perfect Corporate Summer Party London experience.
The Marquee: Elegant Comfort in the Garden
At the heart of the event stood a Capri Marquee, installed on the lush lawns to create a central hub for the celebration. This elegant yet informal structure captured the spirit of a classic London corporate summer event, offering shade and comfort while maintaining an open, airy feel. Guests could dine, mingle, and enjoy live entertainment in a setting that felt both intimate and festive.
Furnishing the Space
To complete the look, Sugar & Rind collaborated with Locate to source stylish garden furniture and soft furnishings. Cosy rugs, lounge seating, and low tables created inviting pockets of space for guests to gather and chat. These thoughtful touches elevated the marquee from a simple tent to a chic social hub — perfect for both corporate events and family-friendly summer parties.
Drinks and Bar Experience
As the night drew on, the atmosphere shifted once more — this time into pure celebration. A drag queen DJ took control of the decks, dancers joined the guests on the floor, and performers wove through the crowd, blurring the line between stage and celebration. The result was a dance floor alive with laughter, joy, and connection — the perfect ending to a truly remarkable day.
Food and Family Fun
The food reflected the event’s easy going, family-oriented brief. Guests enjoyed a nostalgic ice cream van in the afternoon, serving classic scoops that delighted both children and adults. Later, the San Basil Pizza Van rolled in, offering wood-fired pizzas that became an instant hit. This combination of casual dining and summer treats embodied the spirit of a Family Fun Day, ensuring everyone was well-fed and happy.
THE RESULT
Despite a modest budget, Sugar & Rind delivered a seamless and joy-filled corporate summer celebration in London. By managing every aspect of summer party planning for corporates, we allowed Xapien’s busy team to relax and fully enjoy their day. The result was a vibrant, memorable event that perfectly reflected Xapien’s culture — effortless, engaging, and fun for everyone.
